Created in 2009, the Dig for Texas initiative aspires to nurture and celebrate home and community gardens statewide. Central to our efforts are this blog and a 2010 petition drive modeled on the successful, non-partisan 2008 Eat The View campaign. (Please see this page .)
We are loosely affiliated with Kitchen Gardeners International, the non-profit agency that sponsors our petition on Facebook and helped restore White House kitchen garden in 2009.
